What is public speaking to me?

In my opinion, public speaking is when someone goes to talk in front of an audience. It can be anyone at all. For example, it could be a teacher teaching in front of his/her students. It could also be a politician or someone big giving a talk to the media or a large group of people. Even a principle giving a speech can be considered as a public speaker.

After watching this video, a speech by Martin Luther King about him wishing for the salvation and freedom of his fellow black brothers to be able to live in peace and harmony with the whites, I felt very much inspired.

So I believe that for someone to be able to be a good public speaker, they should have charisma and confidence. They should also be able to grab their audiences' attention to be able to inspire them or convince them. There are many other excellent speakers that could be made into an example and most of them are people who are achieving for something that is the greater good (though that is nothing more than a very subjective opinion since what is seen as good to one person can be seen as something bad to another).

Hmmm..... Well that's all I have to say.

So long...
